What is cross-checked about the ending route?

Official achievements confirm a Final Aftermath completion, a Closing In completion and a Final Cutscene target. Current video chapter lists also expose a late “Flesh Pit / Ending” area. These markers prove a finale route — not how many endings exist.

Ending summary — spoilers below

The following summary follows the finale dialogue in the linked playthroughs (Hollow and DanQ8000). Story spoilers follow.

• In Closing In, the antagonist is identified as Elias, who runs the Flesh Pit. Elias is seeking revenge for his brother, whom Dick killed.
• The two detectives are separated at the door: Robbie is sent to find the switch that opens the final path. Dick later faces Elias.
• Both detectives are ultimately subdued and bound. Elias tells them he is getting payback for his brother.
• While bound, Robbie tells Dick to use his gun. Dick thanks his partner for saving him.
• The recorded ending has Dick leave Carrion City.
