Stuck at the Flesh Box?
The Final Aftermath Flesh Box code is 1979. The four numbered controls on the box are positional — set them left to right to 1 · 9 · 7 · 9.
What to do, in order
- Finish the active source sweep. Stay in the Final Aftermath crime scene until the objective points you to the picture frame.
- Inspect the framed newspaper. The Daily Jank headline is dated October 31, 1979. The year is your four-digit clue.
- Return to the Flesh Box. Align the four number indicators to 1-9-7-9.
- Watch for the recovered-tape dialogue. “Come find me, detective” cues the route toward Closing In.
How to enter the code
Set each indicator on the Flesh Box from left to right to 1, 9, 7, 9. The controls are positional — slot 1 is the leftmost control, slot 4 is the rightmost. Each dial snaps into a single digit.
How you know it worked
The next dialogue cue triggers — the recovered-tape exchange begins with “Come find me, detective,” and the chapter routes toward Closing In. If the box stays locked, re-check the picture-frame interaction and that each indicator is centered on its intended number; the transcripts do not support save editing or file mods to bypass the clue.
Frames are limited visual excerpts from the linked public playthrough, captured August 27, 2026 for commentary and source identification. They do not replace the full clue-to-success sequence.

These transcripts are auto-generated third-party exports, so names and repeated words can be noisy. The numerical clue, scene order and successful progression agree across independent recordings; no full transcript is reproduced here.
Is 1979 the donut shop code?
No. Luna’s Cream Filled Donuts is an earlier workplace chapter with a food-preparation loop. The cross-checked 1979 puzzle appears later during Final Aftermath. The separate Donut Shop guide explains why no numeric donut-shop input point has been confirmed: the parking gate opens via a switch beside the register, not a keypad.
