What is currently known
The first full-game code has now passed the two-source gate: the Final Aftermath Flesh Box uses 1979. Three independent current-version transcripts agree on the framed newspaper clue, code and progression sequence.
GOG’s official product description confirms crime-scene investigation and grisly puzzles. Steam also confirms achievement objectives involving The Skin Stapler tapes and a Thank You note in Dick Slater’s office. Their exact action sequences still require gameplay cross-check.
Limited visual excerpts identify the scene, creator and dedicated answer page. They do not turn unresolved actions elsewhere in the chapter into cross-checked solutions.
What does “blood puzzle” mean?
“Blood puzzle” is not a title in the current 16-item Steam achievement list. The official route does contain Lazar’s Blood Bank, while current full-game video chapters label the finale area The Flesh Pit. Searchers can therefore be describing two different scenes.
- At Lazar’s Blood Bank: use the Blood Bank walkthrough. The normal shift moves a blood jar to cold storage; the later, two-source-cross-checked route is cooler → office → police.
- In the finale: use the full-game chapter index to confirm you are in The Flesh Pit; the exact scale-item route remains under review.
The official Blood Bank chapter and video-labeled Flesh Pit are confirmed contexts. Which one a searcher means is read from location, and neither unresolved operation is filled with a guessed solution.
Puzzle FAQ
Are all The Skin Stapler puzzle solutions complete?
No. Only the Final Aftermath 1979 code and the Lazar’s Blood Bank cooler-to-police sequence currently pass the two-source gate. Other chapters stay “Structure” or “Still open” until independent current-version source is captured.
Why is “blood puzzle” split into two scenes?
“Blood puzzle” is not an official achievement title. Lazar’s Blood Bank is the named workplace chapter; current full-game videos label the finale area The Flesh Pit. Treat them as separate routes until a developer source publishes a single authoritative name.
Is there a cross-checked “donut shop code”?
No numeric code. The cross-checked Luna’s Donuts guide covers the register-side gate switch and the dough-to-box recipe. The only transcribed four-digit solution in the game is the Final Aftermath 1979 code.
The Luna’s Donuts guide now answers the measured “donut shop code” query: there is no keypad number in the checked chapter routes. Use the switch beside the register to open the parking gate, then follow the dough-to-box recipe. The two-source 1979 answer still belongs only to Final Aftermath.
